CPN (Maoist) Vice-Chairman Baburam Bhattarai informed on Saturday that India is ready to welcome a Maoist-led government in Nepal provided that the political parties in the nation forge consensus on the same. Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after participating in a seminar organised by Vivekananda Foundation in New Delhi, Bhattarai said he learnt that India has no problem with the formation of the to-be-formed government under the leadership of the Maoist if the political parties agree upon it.
Bhattarai added that India wants Nepal to solve all its internal problems within the country itself.
Mentioning that India is concerned over Nepal's political crisis, Bhattarai said he did not find India wishing to interfere in the country's internal affairs.
Talking to the mediapersons at the TIA, Bhattarai said, "India wishes to see peace and timely statute in Nepal."
Terming his India visit as fruitful, Bhattarai said his misunderstanding with India has lessened. "We had doubt that India was in favour or against some parties, so, I discussed over the issue openly with the Indian leaders," Bhattarai said.
He added that India wants to mend all the issues through dialogues.
On the occasion, Bhattarai said that his India visit served as an opportunity to understand two countries opinion and added he has been confirmed that India has not conspire any policies against the party.From:-ecantipur.com
